Nightingale Bread is a craft bake shop on the north end of downtown Colorado Springs. We make naturally leavened breads with shop-milled, organic, heirloom grains from small farms, and we serve nice breakfast and lunch fare at the appropriate hours and following the seasons. There may or may not also be bread making classes, a secret late night soup-and-bread supper club, and strange rumors of Donut Day.
As we settle into the new baking schedule, we’ll be offering a variety of breads each week. Once things settle in a few weeks, we’ll publish the weekly bread schedule, and begin to open up further elements of the bakery (the breakfast table, more pizza hours, etc.).
